Late 20th Century Mirror with Mythical Motif

Description: This late 20th century decorative mirror features an intricately carved and painted wood frame with an ornate mythical motif. The richly patinated frame is embellished with stylized animals, scrolling foliage, geometric patterns, floral details, and a central tree-of-life-inspired design, creating a dramatic, collected character. The dark wood and aged metallic-gold accents contrast beautifully with the decorative textile-like panel at the center. A distinctive statement piece for a living room, bedroom, entryway, or layered gallery setting.

Size: 29w x 1d x 40h

Condition Notes: Shows wear consistent with age, including surface scratches, finish variation, areas of rubbed and distressed paint/gilding, and minor imperfections throughout the carved frame. The decorative center panel shows age-related fading and variation. Some edges and carved details have additional wear consistent with the piece's age and handmade character, as shown in the photos. These variations contribute to its vintage patina and character.
